Clean place with garden views. Very friendly and pleasant staff. A lot of fab options for meals. Clearly a pleasant hotel in a beautiful and incredible location.

Location so close to the motorway, the garden during a very hot sumnmer day, and the old town. Also, in the river that encircles the hilltop village.

Everything is fairly clean and perfect. A standard twin room with lovely towels has basic facilities you need. Good restaurant, great food, people working here are affable.

This place has a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to visit and just a short walk from a famous landmark.

The hotel has welcoming service and incredible location on the top of the hill. The venue has airy rooms with nice views. The staff is helpful. The food is outstanding.

The staff here were really on top of things, super friendly and had such a good vibe. This spot is such a bargain, and it's right in the middle of everything by the historic area. 🌟.

The service was friendly, and our standard king room had central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

I chose Ambroise for its proximity to Vieux Pont de Vigeois, a landmark I wanted to visit. However, the hotel's free WiFi throughout the property pleasantly surprised me. The restaurant LeChichipompon, with its garden view and alfresco dining, was a delightful experience.

No air-con in bedrooms. Despite the heat, the peaceful surroundings and enjoyable open-air meals compensated for the discomfort.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the hotel's common areas. The beautiful and traditional French furniture and the lovely paintings on the walls made me feel like I was staying in a true French home. It was such a delight to relax and enjoy the atmosphere in these spaces, especially as a senior woman who appreciates a touch of elegance and comfort.

I would have asked for a better vacation experience for senior people if there had been more assistance available for carrying luggage. As much as I enjoyed my stay, it was quite difficult for me to handle my heavy suitcase on my own.

The room at Hotel Ambroise was so cozy and comfortable, I felt right at home. The TV and free WiFi access were a bonus, perfect for my karaoke and casino nights in Uzerche.

Personally, I wish the bathroom toiletries were different, but hey, that's just my preference. Others might still find them enjoyable.

Room was comfortable with great river view. Friendly and attentive staff. Good selection of food and wine on outdoor patio. Charming medieval village.
